Top Notch Breakfast - Cheaper Than A Gallon Of Gas - The Big Egg

For the cost of a gallon of gas, you can get yourself one of the best breakfast meals in Cleveland.  On the corner of 51st and Detroit sits this gem of a restaurant that packs in the weekend crowd for the daily breakfast specials.

From anywhere between $2.29 and $3.99 you can find yourself with one hell of a plate of food.  The basic breakfast special costs $2.29 and gets you two eggs, two pieces of toast, and a nice serving of crispy home fries.  Feel the urge to splurge?  Add a dollar and get your choice of breakfast meat.  If you are feeling crazy and looking to spend, $3.99 will get you the "crazy" breakfast which boasts 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 pieces of sausage, and toast.  Have fun with that one.

The Big Egg is a diner style spot known for it's breakfast, but also has a large menu with prices just as affordable.  Unfortunately I was unable to find a link to the Menu, but in real life, it's shaped like an egg.
The server staff is friendly, quick, and represents what it is to be from Cleveland, hard working.

Parking is plentiful behind the restaurant but get there early on Sunday, after church lets out the place really can fill up.
